St. Joachim Is My Hero

Hello! My name is Joachim and as you can tell, St. Joachim is my hero. Obviously I was named after him, but who is he? Well, he is the grandfather of Jesus! His daughter was Mary, who became the Mother of Jesus. Pretty sweet, huh? I thought so too. Thanks for viewing my blog. I hope you like it. And it saves me from using up all my Mom's cell phone minutes trying to keep in touch with all my family and friends. Love you!

Catching up!

Ok, we have some catching up to do since I went so long without posting. Sorry, but I was so busy during April I just couldn't find the time.

This picture says, "Get off your high horse and enjoy the blog!" ...or should I say "get ON it?"

I made it to my 2nd annual "Sara, Adrienne, & Brett Combined Birthday Party." Yes, that's right, I went to my first one last year when I was only 5 days old! Last year's theme...Tube Sock Party, this year's theme...Wear a shirt/accessories from somewhere foreign. Mom wore a Scotland shirt that Uncle Eric brought back, Dad wore a German soccer jersey of Matt's, and I wore my I love NY that Kelley brought me. New York is a foreign place right? And they wore their sombreros too, while I just poured the champagne.

Also, I made it to my first Royals game! It was so fun (even though the pic doesn't show it)!! And the Royals WON!

My friend Kim was with us too. I got tired, so here I am in my pj's ready for bed right after the Friday night fireworks!

Here's me with my friend, Alan, from Daddy's work. We all went out to lunch with everyone from the office for Dad's birthday.

And he I am with my cousins. Who belongs to who? A hint: no mommy is holding their own baby!

And here's me on Easter! Boy I loved playing with those plastic eggs!!

This is the birthday cake that Great Grandma made for Daddy. He let me help blow out the candles.

And here I am with Uncle Eric. Just trying to show that I love all my uncles the same!

Ok...until next time...laugh a lot and pray hard...for that is what makes life good!

Seriously, Joachim, a purple horse? You are hardly a year old and you are already being citified! You need to come stay with me in the country (hey, I live on a gravel road) and learn the finer things of life. Can't wait to play!
