Hello! My name is Joachim and as you can tell, St. Joachim is my hero. Obviously I was named after him, but who is he? Well, he is the grandfather of Jesus! His daughter was Mary, who became the Mother of Jesus. Pretty sweet, huh? I thought so too. Thanks for viewing my blog. I hope you like it. Here is an update on my friend Xander. He is really growing up...and almost fits into my boots...but I still think they look a little big!
And it won't be long until he's as big around as me, too. I better start eating more!
