St. Joachim Is My Hero

Hello! My name is Joachim and as you can tell, St. Joachim is my hero. Obviously I was named after him, but who is he? Well, he is the grandfather of Jesus! His daughter was Mary, who became the Mother of Jesus. Pretty sweet, huh? I thought so too. Thanks for viewing my blog. I hope you like it. My trip to St. Louis

A couple weeks ago I went to St. Louis to be with my friend, Michelle. While we were there, I did a little sight-seeing...

This is the Cathedral. It is very cool...and huge!!

And this is the famous Arch. It is also huge! This town sure made me feel small!!

And this is a picture of the Arch from inside the Old Cathedral. Cool, huh? I know...I'm quite the photographer!!

(Also, I wanted to put a picture of me in my new shades, but I'm still waiting on Jenni or Lauren to forward that pic to me. Stay on the lookout for "My trip to St. Louis--Part 2.")

Playing with Jared & Cheering on the Jayhawks

Well, this has been a very exciting NCAA tournament. While we are not watching the Jayhawks play, we spend time preparing for our big debut as basketball players.

Do you think it's important for Jared & I to be able to run in order to make the team??

Now aside from basketball, there are a few other things in my life. For instance, this girl...

You must remember that she is an older woman, but why during a beautiful outing in our stroller, must she take her shoes and socks off and try to play footsie with me???
