Today is the Feast Day of St. Joachim & St. Anne! We'd like to blog a special tribute to our firstborn's namesake.

God of our fathers,
you gave Saints Joachim and Anne
the privilege of being the parents of Mary,
the mother of your incarnate Son.
May their prayers help us to attain
the salvation you have promised to your people.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Life is good!

Another good thing in life is playing with my friend Aidan. (I think we were jumping on my bed before this pic was taken.)

And there is nothing better in life than taking your nap in the middle of the living room floor. Yeah! (And in case you are wondering, yes, I decided to sleep here all by myself. No help necessary.)

All About Isaac!

Hi there! I'm Isaac and I am 4 months old! I have accomplished a lot during these first 4 months. For instance, I can smile and laugh, roll over, hit at things, put toys in my mouth, sit with assistance, and I've gotten 2 teeth and weigh over 20 pounds. I sure have been busy!! Mom thinks my chubby arms and tummy are cute...I think she needs to put the camera away and let me take a bath! In my spare time I've taken up piano. An enjoyable endeavor for sure. Check out this video of my Grandpa George helping me play.
